TX: Domestic Defense, Uncle Shoots Nephew in Leg

A 63-year-old man shot his nephew in the leg Tuesday after they got into a fight at a home in the 900 block of Monterrey Drive, police said.

Denton police spokesman Shane Kizer said police responded to the disturbance at about 6 p.m. Tuesday. He said an argument between the 32-year-old nephew and his uncle turned physical. After the nephew hit his uncle in the head several times, the uncle grabbed a pistol and shot him in the right leg, Kizer said.
